Cultural Discovery
Antonio was always introducing the group to special elements of the Spanish culture which he called "Discoveries". More often than not they were edible. For instance, in Madrid we had some tapas from a local market near to Plaza Mayor. I have to admit I did not like the cod one I tried. Surprising since I love baked or fried cod at home. In Toledo I was luckier when we experienced " Chocolate con churros ", a wonderful deep fried pastry dipped in a thick chocolate. (Yes, it was as good as it sounds.)
Even the "pit stops" we took en route to our next destinations were fun and interesting.

See the statues of Don Quixote, Man of La Mancha in the actual Man of La Mancha territory. We even saw some of the famous windmills from our bus windows.
